Primary

Semester One reports are a key milestone in the Primary school calendar, providing a comprehensive overview of each student’s academic progress, personal development, and learning behaviours.

This year, we are excited to transition to a new reporting platform, iSAMs, which will streamline administrative processes and improve communication between school and home. We’ve also made a meaningful change to the report format. Each report will begin with a focus on personal and social development, followed by academic subjects including English, Chinese and specialist areas. This reflects our commitment to student wellbeing and aligns with AISHK’s core values.

Academic achievement will be assessed using a five-point scale: Excellent, Very Good, Satisfactory, Developing, and Experiencing Difficulty. Please note that Satisfactory indicates your child is meeting year-level expectations a commendable achievement that reflects steady and appropriate progress.

Reports were made available online via the iSAMs Parent Portal from Tuesday, 24 June at 2:00pm. We encourage parents to share the positive feedback and celebrate areas of growth with their children. Focusing on strengths is especially important for young learners. We hope you enjoy reading the reports and find them helpful in communicating your child’s development.

Secondary

Reports for Years 7 to 10 will be available online via the iSAMs Parent Portal from Thursday, 26 June at 3:00pm.

These offer both a semester grade, based on performance in summative assessments throughout semester 1, and an effort grade. They also include personalised comments from each subject teacher about student strengths and areas for growth. Reports capture how a student is performing across the curriculum at a point in time, relative to their peers, and provide strategies and advice for improvement.

Archived Reports and Systems
