Records Smashed at Athletics Carnival!

This year, an impressive 11 school records were broken in a variety of categories, including Andrew Guerin’s 12.45 seconds 100m sprint and Grace Bennie’s 4.10m long jump. Grace jumped the furthest in her category, U14, and of all the girls’ categories in the school. The incredible events and personal bests made for an unforgettable celebration of sport and teamwork.
The day's interhouse competition was fierce and spirited from start to finish. The results are as follows:
Waratah – 731 points
Eucalypt – 781
Wattle – 874
Jacaranda – 1486
John van Gaalen, Head of PDHPE, said, “It was an incredible day of competition and spirit at Shing Mun Valley Sports Ground for our annual Secondary Athletics Carnival. From record-breaking performances to the cheers of encouragement of the spectators, the energy from our AISHK community was truly unmatched.
