Year 2 Assembly: A Journey Through Time

At last week's Year 2 assembly, students took the audience on a journey through the past, present and future, using acting and storytelling inspired by the movie, Back to the Future. Through their performances, they demonstrated their understanding of how transport, communication, household items and toys have changed over time, while also sharing an important message about using modern technology safely and responsibly.

Colin Young, Head of Year 2, said, "It was brilliant to see every member of the year group participate in our first assembly of the school year. The children thoroughly enjoyed the experience and took great pride in being able to share their HASS learning from this term. It was also fabulous to see the students confidently showcasing their work in a variety of different ways, including explanations, plays, and engaging presentations. Year 2 should feel incredibly proud of this performance."
