Meet the PA 2026

2026 PA Executive & General Committee

We are pleased to share brief introductions for each 2026 PA Committee Member, along with the year levels of their enrolled children in 2026.

Executive Committee

President

Kwai Lee (Year 11)

Kwai brings years of experience with the Parent Association, including serving as VP Events and on the General Committee. Her broad knowledge across roles, gained through active involvement and observation, gives her valuable insight into supporting each position. Kwai is passionate about building on the PA’s strong foundations, focusing on community spirit, fundraising, and events that unite families for the benefit of our students.

 

VP – Secretary

Cassandra (Cassie) Zughbi (Year 1 & 3)

Cassie is a highly organised professional with experience in design and construction, managing internal and external teams, and ensuring compliance. She values school connections and is keen to contribute through the Secretary role.

 

VP – Treasurer

Vicky Choie (Year 6)

Vicky is deeply committed to supporting the PTA and fostering strong connections among parents. She brings valuable prior experience serving as Secretary and handling Finance in various volunteer roles, and she is enthusiastic to take on the responsibilities of this position.

 

VP – Events

Jacinta Fernandes (Year 12 & 2023 Alumni)

Jacinta is a long-time parent and former PA-New Parents coordinator with strong bilingual skills and a proven ability to organise large-scale events, including school festivals and community gatherings. She is passionate about uplifting school spirit and engagement. Jacinta is a long-term volunteer of the Parent Association General Committee and has previously supported many PA events. 

 

VP – New Parent Coordinator

Rob Daniel (Year 10)

Rob is highly experienced in relocating families globally, having spent almost 20 years helping families settle into new environments. He understands the challenges of transition and looks forward to assisting new families at AISHK. Rob is a long-term volunteer of the PA General Committee and a hands-on supporter of all PA events.

 

VP – Community

Emily Tang (Years 9 & 2)

Emily has been part of AISHK for nine years and is passionate about fostering a strong sense of community among parents and families. She is eager to help strengthen connections and support initiatives that bring people together for the benefit of our students.

 

General Committee - 10 Members Capacity (4 vacancies available)

Lourdes Chiu (Year 9)

Lourdes was previously involved in the PA Committee, served on the General Committee, and assisted on the Ball Committee. She has seen the impact a united parent body can have and hopes to use her experience to support the committee and strengthen community connections.

Judy Hui (Years 5 & 3)

Judy is passionate about strengthening the bond between school and parents. With a background in business resilience and risk management for APAC, plus corporate event management experience, she brings organisational and community skills to the role.

 

Pandora Hui (Year 10)

Pandora has been an active member of the AISHK community for many years, with her daughter attending since prep. She brings valuable experience from her previous roles as Treasurer and VP Events. Having treasured the sense of community at AISHK, Pandora is eager to give back and support both long-standing and new members.

 

Marianne Leishman (Years 2, 5 & 8)

Marianne is a long-standing AISHK parent who has actively supported the school over the years through attendance and volunteerism at a wide range of school events. She is now keen to formalise her contributions and bring her experience as a parent and member of the school community to a more structured role.

 

Jacqueline Morrison (Years 3, 5 & 7)

Jacquie is a mother of three at AISHK with over two decades of experience working with families in diverse school environments worldwide. Jacquie values strong, connected school communities and is eager to contribute to the Parent Association and wider AISHK community.

 

Banovwe (Ben) Shakarho (Year 11 & 2024 Alumni)

Ben has been a parent since 2017 and served on the General Committee four times. She has actively contributed to many events, including Ball sub-committees and creatively leading the Europe stall team for the AISHK International Festival in 2022.
