This term Year 9 and 10 drama students took part in immersive workshops with, Aurora Theatre Hong Kong. Students explored the rich world of Greek Theatre, expanding their performance practices in new, engaging and highly practical ways building on their foundational work on the history of theatre.
Secondary Teacher – English, Rebecca Lachmund, said, "These sessions brought classical techniques to life and empowered students to experiment, reflect, and apply ancient performance conventions with confidence. As the unit continues, students will begin connecting their work to Late Victorian theatre, including elements of the Comedy of Manners, using their classical foundations to inform the next stage of their performance development."
