Years 3–6 Go the Distance at the Interhouse Cross Country

Years 3 to 6 students took on the 2 km course at the annual Primary Interhouse Cross Country Carnival, held on Thursday, 5 March at the Pak Shek Kok Waterfront Promenade.
In the lead-up to the carnival, students joined Lap Legends, a four‑week morning and lunchtime program that helped them build endurance and get ready for race day. Students completed as many laps as they could, building endurance while earning House points.
This year’s Lap Legends theme, “Run to the Wall,” challenged students to collectively cover the 2,000 km distance from AISHK to the Great Wall of China.
Benjamin Brown, PDHPE teacher, said, "Our Primary Cross Country was a great success. It was wonderful to be greeted by mild weather and countless smiling faces with a steely resolve ready to take on the 2km course at Pak Shek Kok. A massive thank you to all the students for their efforts as well as the staff and parents for their unwavering encouragement and support. Congratulations to the winners for 2026 - Eucalypt."
