Welcome to the 2025 AISHK school year! We are looking forward to welcoming you back to campus and a very special welcome to all new Australian International School Hong Kong families joining us this year. This email includes lots of useful information including: the start of school arrangements, an iSams introduction, key dates and more.
Please note the start of school arrangements for Primary School students
Reception First Day Arrangements.
Tuesday, 4 February: Students should go directly to their classrooms with their parents on arrival between 7:55am-8:15am.
Prep Schedule for Week One.
3-4 February are assessment days for Preparatory classes and information regarding assessment times has been emailed to families already.
Wednesday, 5 February: First full day of Preparatory
All Prep students register in the Auditorium upon arrival at 8am. Students will then be taken to classrooms by their teachers.
Year 1-6 First Day Arrangements.
Monday, 3 February: From 7:45am-8:15am, New students and parents should go to the Auditorium. After registration students will be accompanied to classrooms. Parents are welcome to accompany students to their classrooms.
All returning students can go to classes at 7:55am and students arriving between 7:30am-7:55am can go to the school field.
Dismissal
For the afternoon dismissal, the arrangements remain the same as this is a full day of classes. All students will be dismissed as usual via bus or collected by parent/guardian on the field.

iSams
Australian International School is now an iSams school. iSams is a management information system that brings together,

Book your ECA for Term 1 (enrollment opens 21 January).
School bus information.
Lunch booking for Term 1.
Parents are requested to set up an iSams account. Watch this video to see how to set up your account and for a quick introduction to the Parent Portal on iSams.
In summary the school’s IT team will email parents tomorrow, 21 January, with a unique username and password to login. The email includes all the login information you need to get started on iSams and the Parent Portal.
iFinance
Please see details of when and how school fee information will be shared this year.
Term 1& 2 invoices will be emailed (as usual) to parents and added to the Parent Portal (this is a new practice).
Term 3 & 4 invoices will not be emailed to parents and only added to the Parent Portal. The school’s finance team will email parents to let them know that invoices are available on the portal to view and process.

AISHK Welcome BBQ | Save The Date!
Please save the date, 4-7pm, Friday 7 February, for AISHK’s Term 1 community event, the Welcome BBQ! This event is a great opportunity for families to connect early in the year, and to meet new and familiar faces. Held on the school field, the event brings together parents, students, staff, alumni and sponsors.

New Families Information
Welcome Coffee
On behalf of the school and the Parent Association, all new parents are warmly invited to join us in the school cafeteria on the 1st floor, following the new student registration process. Come along for an informal gathering from 8:30am for the chance to meet fellow new parents, the Parent Association committee and members of school leadership. As there is a staggered start for Reception and Prep students, coffee mornings will be hosted on Monday 3, Tuesday 4 and Wednesday 5 February.
