This week Ms Dunstan explains how the school strategic plans are impacting student learning and everyday life on campus.

Celebrating Progress and Looking Ahead

The School’s three-year strategic plan, 2024-2026 focuses on four areas:

  • academic excellence,

  • wellbeing literacy,

  • optimisation of technology, and

  • enhancement of our facilities and learning spaces.

As we reach the mid-point of the strategic plan it is timely to review progress. Below I outline the key projects underway or in development that will further strengthen our future and the students' learning.

This week I have seen the tangible results the strategic projects are having. Our Year 12 HSC music students’ outstanding recital performances are a testament to the high standards of academic excellence and personal commitment fostered in our community.

The innovative Year 6 Change Maker presentations further highlight our school’s dedication to the PROSPER framework, nurturing not only deep learning in academic growth but also daily wellbeing, such as positivity, relationships, outcomes, purpose, engagement and resilience in learning experiences.

Alongside academic and wellbeing gains, we have accelerated our investment in optimising technology and facilities. Our upgraded technology systems have made operations more integrated and secure with expert review and advice from a leading educational data privacy and cybersafe partner. Our ongoing campus enhancements reflect the needs of contemporary education. The recently published campus upgrade news will continue to provide students with improved environments such as the commencement plan for the first phase of G/F Wellness Wing refurbishment. Click here to see a summary of the campus upgrades.

Digital citizenship learning is ongoing and based upon educating students to be informed and responsible about technology use including online safety practices.   SchoolTV is now available to all students, families and staff to promote continuous learning in this important area of life.  Click here to see School TV

These accomplishments highlight how our strategic focus is enhancing learning, wellbeing, technology and physical spaces where our students are flourishing. As we continue through this strategic cycle (2024 to 2026), we remain committed to our goals so that every learner benefits and realises their personal potential. We are committed to ensuring our staff have the necessary resources to provide the conditions for success for each learner in their professional care.
