Get to know the new and returning staff who have joined AISHK this year. They bring diverse backgrounds and talents but share a common dedication to helping young people learn, grow, and thrive. More staff introductions will follow in the next Dhanara.

Maggie Marsh — Classroom Teacher, Primary

I taught at AISHK from 2011–2018 before exploring other schools in Hong Kong, including Chinese International School and German Swiss International School. I was at GSIS before returning to AISHK. I love my kids and travelling, and I dislike eggs and crowded spaces.

Sean Wray — Secondary Teacher, HSIE & Careers Advisor

Before joining AISHK, I worked at Hale School in Western Australia. I teach Secondary Economics and also serve as a Careers Advisor. I enjoy metaphysics and good food, and I dislike rain.

Sam Yung — Primary Administration Officer

I’ve worked in several schools, such as Nord Anglia International School and Malvern College, and I’ve taken on a range of roles, from Admissions to Administration, and even Teaching. I like tennis and Manchester United. My dislikes? Studying hard and swimming!

Marie Ng — Classroom Assistant

Before joining AISHK, I worked at Anfield School at the Primary level. I like cats and cycling, and I’m not a fan of bright lights or smelly durian.

Alice Withers — Classroom Assistant, Learning Support

For the past 18 years, I worked at Mt St Patrick Primary School in Murwillumbah, NSW as both Librarian and Learning Support Assistant. I also worked at AISHK in the Primary LEC during 2018 and 2019, so it’s wonderful to be back. I love reading, hiking and gardening, but I don’t enjoy hot, humid weather.

Debbie Reynolds — Classroom Assistant

My most recent role was at a crypto startup where I worked as Procurement Lead and Office Manager. Before that, I was a Lecturer at the Hong Kong Institute of Education, teaching in the Higher Diploma program in Leisure & Recreation Management. I enjoy food and music, and I don’t like waking up early.

Ling Li — Classroom Assistant, Early Childhood

I previously worked at Victoria Shanghai Academy in Primary Learning Support. I love travelling, hiking and watching movies, and I really dislike traffic jams.

Emily Lin — Classroom Assistant

I graduated from AISHK last year and haven't worked at other schools before. I love cats and spending time at the beach, and I’m not a fan of carrots.
