As we wrap up a wonderful semester, it's a great time to reflect on the many special moments we have shared. We began the school year with excitement and curiosity, as students settled into their new classrooms and made new friends. One of the highlights was our joyful Welcome 30th Birthday BBQ, where families, students, and staff came together to enjoy delicious food and build a strong sense of community. Now, we’re ending the semester on a high note with Chinese Week - a vibrant celebration of culture and traditions. From music and art to language and food. A big thank you to the Chinese team for their efforts. What a fantastic way to finish the term!

Reception Update -

We are incredibly proud to have two full day Reception classes operating in 2025, led by two experienced and passionate early years educators: Ms Rosanowski and Ms James. Our youngest students have settled quickly to school routines and enjoy many of the engaging experiences offered at AISHK. At the start of the week, the Reception classes joined our Chinese Week dragon celebration dance! Due to enrolment numbers, we welcomed an all-boys Reception class, a first for AISHK. Despite welcoming some new students into Reception, this class (RR) will continue as an all-boys class into Semester Two.

As we head into the summer holidays, we want to wish all our families a joyful and restful break. May this be a special time to reconnect, relax, and enjoy meaningful moments together. Whether you are staying close to home or setting off on exciting adventures, we hope your days are filled with laughter, love, and plenty of sunshine (although for those of us returning to Australia it may be cold). For those traveling, we wish you safe journeys and good health throughout your travels.

Thank you for a fantastic semester. We look forward to welcoming everyone back refreshed and ready for second semester on Monday 28 July.
