Year 3 Explore Animal Life at Ocean Park

On 26 February, Year 3 students stepped into the role of junior zoologists during their visit to Ocean Park. They explored the park and learned about animals using the acronym MRS GREN: looking at how animals Move, Respire, their Sensitivity to their surroundings, how they Grow, Reproduce, Excrete, and get Nutrition. They also investigated animal lifecycles and how living things change and grow over time.

Kate Jackson, Head of Year 3, shared, “Students had an amazing day exploring Ocean Park and becoming young scientists! It was such a fun and meaningful day of learning.”
