Teacher Invited to Speak at International Conference

EAL Specialist Teacher, Sarah Guinon, was invited to speak at the 9th annual English Language Learning Specialists in Asia (ELLSA) Conference, at the International School of Beijing, on 2 March. This is the second time Sarah has been invited to speak at a significant international conference.

The ELLSA conference provides, a platform for teachers to share best practice for multilingual learners in Asia. Sarah presented on journal interventions, engaging teachers in role-playing and collaboration to create Practical Substitution Tables. She also facilitated a workshop on using Flint AI Bots, where she guided teachers on creating activities and bots tailored to the needs of EAL learners.

Sarah said. "It was an incredible experience, and I received a lot of positive and encouraging feedback, with many attendees requesting copies of the subject journals."
