On 10–11 September, Year 6 students proudly presented their Change Makers Exhibition, a showcase of projects addressing global challenges through the lens of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.

Each student explored a real-world issue, from climate change to gender equality and clean water, and developed innovative solutions aimed at making a positive impact.

The first day of the exhibition, 10 September, welcomed visiting students from Malvern College, Canadian International School, and Yew Chung International School of Hong Kong. The event allowed students to exchange ideas and gain new perspectives.

On 12 September, families, fellow AISHK students and staff were invited to view the exhibition. The atmosphere was one of celebration and pride, as students confidently shared their work and reflected on their learning journeys.

Kate Elliott, Head of Year 6, said “We couldn’t be prouder of the cohort after two inspiring exhibition days. Over nine weeks they engaged with the inquiry cycle, brought their passions, issues, and actions to life with authenticity and purpose. Their ability to express themselves confidently and thoughtfully to a variety of audiences was truly impressive. We now have 102 Change Makers paving the way!”

Mina Dunstan, Head of School, added, "I am pleased to recognise the outstanding learning displayed of the Year 6 Change Maker presentation. The students’ projects reflect our school’s commitment to the PROSPER framework, supporting both academic growth and daily wellbeing. Year 6 students demonstrated purpose, resilience, curiosity, and collaboration, engaging with peers, staff, parents, and visitors. Their work highlighted creative problem-solving, inquiry, and compassion—skills that will benefit them as they transition to Secondary school in 2026".
