Years 3-6, Rook and Roll at the Chess Carnival

Over two-lunchtimes Primary school students in Years 3-6 played all the right moves at the Chess Carnival on the 12- 13 March.

A carnival highlight for many was getting to know and playing against students from different year levels. While beginners learnt the rules of the game with help from the House captains.

"I love chess and it was great to come here to play it on my birthday!" - Jeremiah Lam, Year 6

"I heard from my friends that day 1 was fun so I came to check it out on day 2 of the carnival and if was great!" - Arjuna Sen, Year 3
