Year 8 English Students Dive into Arthurian Legends

On February 25, Year 8 English students attended a special talk on The Stories of Camelot. The talk was presented by Christopher Bird, Deputy Head of Primary, who extensively studied Arthurian legends during his English Literature degree.

The talk aimed to deepen students' understanding of King Arthur and the legendary tales, highlighting their significance in both literature and history. Sian Byrne, Secondary English Teacher said, "Mr Bird's talk provided a valuable insight into these enduring myths and what they stood for. This was a wonderful opportunity for students to engage with the content in a dynamic and interactive way."
