Year 6 students completed their Peer Support Training yesterday. They explored the concept of leadership—what it means, why it matters, and the many ways it can be demonstrated. We were fortunate to have Mrs. Dunstan deliver an activity and discussion, as well as two inspiring guest speakers: Max Woodward, former Hong Kong Rugby Sevens Captain, and Roshini Turner, Captain of the Hong Kong Women’s Rugby Team. Both shared valuable insights into leadership in sport and the strategies they use to guide and uplift their teams.
Year 6 also gained a clear understanding of how the Peer Support program will run and how they’ll be supported and prepared for each session. It was a great success and we are looking forward to beginning this next week!
