Year 2 Students Share Their HASS Learning Journey

On Tuesday, April 8th, Year 2 students warmly welcomed their families and the school community into their classrooms for their "HASS Learning Journey" (HASS, Humanities and Social Science) focused on the past and present. Highlights included:
Visual timelines showcasing the development of the telephone
Recounts of their excursion to the Hong Kong Museum of the War of Resistance and Coastal Defence
"Popplett" presentations on the history of toys, using iPads
Library session learning exploring significant historical places in Hong Kong and Australia
Colin Young, Head of Year 2, said, "The event was a resounding success, with students proudly sharing the diverse learning experiences they had throughout Term 1. The students thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to display their extensive learning and explain the connections they made to the past. It was a wonderful experience for students, families and staff."
