Year 2 Poetry and Drama Incursion

On the 28 May, all Year 2 classes participated in a 45-minute poetry and drama workshop with Faust International Youth Theatre as a kickstart to their poetry unit. The students were introduced to traditional poetry techniques through a variety of drama games and activities.
Rose Millington, Year 2 teacher, said, "Our students embraced the visit from Faust with enthusiasm, using drama and language to explore poetry in a meaningful and creative way. It was fantastic to see their confidence grow as they performed and experimented with new poetic techniques!"
