Year 2 Assembly, in Pictures

On Friday, 31 May, our Year 2 students stepped into the stage with a vibrant Term 2 assembly, kicking things off with a dance to “Celebration” that welcomed parents and teachers!

They treated the audience to a fantastic display of knowledge and creativity across Science, English, and Mathematics:

Science: 2M impressed the audience with on stage demonstrations showing how pushes and pulls affect movement.

English: Students brought instructions to life with a skit featuring teachers (played by students!) getting ready for school with both clear and not-so-clear directions.

Mathematics: 2Y took us on a data adventure with “Team Tally” vs. “Bar Graph Group” to find out which data collection method is best, with the answer being they are both fantastic!

Colin Young, Head of Year 2, shared, "It was a wonderful opportunity for the Year 2 cohort to build their performance and presentation skills. The show truly was a celebration of learning!"
