Thank You from the PA

Hello everyone,

A huge thank you to the whole community for helping us celebrate our Mums in May.  We had an octane-packed 2 weeks with our inaugural Mother’s Day stall, a game-filled Ladies Lunch, Cocktail Night and a glamorous night at the movies watching The Devil Wears Prada 2.  We know these events would not have been possible without your participation and contributions and for this, your committee wishes to express its heartfelt gratitude.  

🌸Collectively we have raised nett $40k from Mother’s Month. THANK YOU EVERYONE🌸

Where is the money going?

The committee has decided to apply a portion of funds raised this year towards our school A/V requirements.  A/V phase 1 will be the strategic installation of three tv screens around the school in the last week of May.  Photos of this will be published in Dhanara in June.  A/V phase 2 will consist of a large outdoor LED screen looking over the field, which will be installed in the second half of the year.

We are also awaiting final plans for the Wellness Wing to understand how we may contribute to this very exciting project.

Whats happening in June?

June 3rd - Heart & Hardware - A Parent’s Guide to Cognitive Performance and Emotional Safety

An interactive workshop for parents with teens to understand what is going on and what to do about it.

~ This workshop is now full but we have created a waitlist via the registration form; please do let us know immediately if you are no longer able to attend.

June 12th - Father's Day Drinks

Come and meet other AISHK Dads for a casual evening of drinks, snacks, and Aussie raffle and lots of laugh!

June 17th - Father's Day Stall

It’s time to celebrate our dads!

The children had so much fun with the Mother’s Day shopping, we promised them that we will now help them find something special for dads.

Our committee is busy sourcing and dreaming up fabulous packs for our dads; the very much anticipated catalogue will be released on Friday 12th.

Supporting and celebrating our community is incredibly important to the PA.  We create events to provide everyone an opportunity to connect, make friends, and be involved in our children’s’ educational journey.  When we get involved, we become community role models for our children, helping them to understand teamwork, responsibility, personal contribution, and making a difference. All very important soft skills that AI will never be able to replace.
