Students Reclaim Timber for Sustainable Learning

Year 9 and Year 10 students recently worked alongside the Creative Industries team to carefully disassemble the old canteen tables, reclaiming valuable timber that will be reused in upcoming Design & Technology projects. This hands-on effort allowed students to develop practical skills while contributing meaningfully to the school’s sustainability initiatives.

By reusing existing materials, the project supports our sustainability objectives by reducing waste and limiting the need to purchase new raw materials. We thank all students involved for their hard work, teamwork and positive contribution to a more sustainable school community. Their efforts demonstrate how thoughtful action can make a real difference.
