This week, our Primary School community came together to celebrate the learning journeys of students from Reception to Year 6 through our Student-Led Conference. It was a heartwarming event that gave students the chance to share their progress, achievements, and classroom experiences with their families in a meaningful and personal way.

Each classroom was transformed into a space where students took the lead—guiding parents through their work, explaining their learning goals, and reflecting on how far they’ve come. From early writing and number exploration in Reception to thoughtful projects and inquiry work in the upper years, every student had something unique and special to share.

What made the day truly memorable was the pride and confidence with which the students spoke. They weren’t just showing finished work—they were telling the story of their learning. Parents listened, asked questions, and celebrated alongside their children, creating a strong sense of partnership between home and school.

Teachers played a supportive role, stepping back to allow students to take ownership of the moment. It was a powerful reminder of how capable and reflective our learners are when given the opportunity to lead.

We’re incredibly proud of all our students for the effort, thought, and courage they showed. Thank you to our families for being part of this celebration—it was a wonderful reminder of the joy and purpose that comes from learning together.
