Secondary Interhouse Volleyball Competition,

During Week 6, students competed in the annual Interhouse Volleyball Competition, with pool matches taking place throughout the week at lunchtime. The preliminary rounds provided plenty of exciting contests as teams battled for a place in the finals, showcasing their improving skills, teamwork, and House pride.

The competition culminated on Friday afternoon, when the top two teams in each division faced off in the championship matches. The finals provided a fantastic showcase of skill, determination, and sportsmanship, with our athletes delivering an outstanding standard of volleyball throughout the afternoon.

The Junior Boys final saw Jacaranda claim a hard-fought 25-22 victory over Wattle, while Wattle responded in the Junior Girls final with a convincing 24-11 win over Jacaranda. The Senior divisions were equally competitive, with Wattle edging out Waratah 24-22 in a thrilling Senior Boys contest before Jacaranda secured the Senior Girls title with a 29-19 victory over Wattle.

Beyond the results, it was the spirit of the occasion that stood out. Players represented their Houses with pride, resilience, and respect, making every point fiercely contested and every match enjoyable to watch. The enthusiastic crowd added to the atmosphere, cheering passionately and creating a vibrant and supportive environment for all competitors.
