Primary Students Join Chinese Cultural Day at Kowloon Tong GPS

A group of Primary students took part in the Chinese Cultural Day at Kowloon Tong Government Primary School on the 12 February. Alongside the school’s English Ambassadors, they explored activities such as making scented sachets, sampling traditional Hong Kong treats, trying Chinese acrobatics, playing the ancient “Cuju” soccer game and creating artistic characters.

AISHK students also attended our neighbouring school’s Chinese New Year assembly, featuring a Kung Fu demonstration, musical performances and a festive Kahoot. Mrs Jane Thomas, Head of Primary, joined the eye‑dotting ceremony at the start of the lion dance performance with the KTGPS Principal.

Winnie Yung, Specialist Teacher - Chinese, shared, "Our students had such a wonderful time connecting with our neighboring school and we can't wait to see more in the Year of the Horse!"
