Preparing for Secondary: Year 6 Ask Me Anything Panel

Is the timetable different? How much homework do you get?” These were just some of the questions at the Year 6 into Year 7 'Ask Me Anything' panel on 8 June, as students prepare for their transition to Secondary.

From “Do we have to move between classrooms?” to “Will we be in the same class as our friends?”, students were eager to gain a clearer picture of everyday life in Year 7.  A panel of Year 7 students shared their insights into schedules, subjects, routines and responsibilities, along with practical tips on staying organised, managing homework and settling into a new environment.  A Year 12 Wellbeing Prefect hosted the panel, supported by Deputy Head of Secondary Emma Young and Head of Year 7 Gavin Guest.
