Mini & Junior Duke Award

We are excited to launch the Mini & Junior Duke Award at AISHK for the 2025 academic year, building on the success of the past three years with over 275 participants. This program, for students in Years 1-6, helps children develop independence, resilience, inquiry, organisation, and self-motivation through a series of life skill challenges.

The Mini & Junior Duke Award, similar to the Duke of Edinburgh Award and the AYP Program in Hong Kong but for primary students, includes activities such as first aid, cookery, swimming, budgeting, and more. Unlike the termly ECAs offered at our school, this award program’s challenges are to be completed at home and outside of school over the course of the year, fostering new skills and rewarding hard work. We have keen staff members who will represent as Duke Leaders who will track the children’s progress every term and help guide our aspiring participants throughout the year. More information about the Mini & Junior Duke Award including a promotional video can be found HERE.

Aiming to start the program as soon as we order and receive the journals for our 2025 participants, the Mini & Junior Duke Award Program aims to run from the end of Term 1, 2025 to the end of Term 4, 2025 (with an extension to Term 1, 2026 if needed).

Enrolment is now open and closes on Friday, 21st February 2025 at 11:59 PM. The cost is $400.00, and you can enrol your child through the SchoolsBuddy system HERE.

For assistance with enrolment and Schoolsbuddy, kindly email eca_sport@aishk.edu.hk.
