Term 1 has been an incredible time filled with opportunities and events for our AISHK community.
We kicked off the first week of school with the AISHK Welcome BBQ and 30th anniversary alumni events, Cross Country followed by numerous sporting opportunities, excursions, incursions, and concerts, culminating in the fantastic opportunity for Year 3, 4 and 5 to go on camp.
Throughout the term, our pastoral care themes have been based around connect, strive and flourish, students embrace this motto and try to enact the action to match on a day-to-day basis. As your children spend time with their friends and family members during the holidays, encourage them to be kind and strong in their interactions.
I would like to extend my gratitude to our dedicated teachers who work tirelessly to ensure every child experience significant growth. Term 1 is particularly demanding as it is the term for fostering and creating connection, meeting with parents and creating engaging learning opportunities.
Wishing you a wonderful holiday, and I hope that wherever (around the world) you choose to relax and rejuvenate, it allows time to unwind and reconnect as a family after another busy school term.
Jane Thomas,
Head of Primary
