Future Leaders in the Making: Year 5 Leadership Day
Year 5 students recently participated in their Leadership Day as they prepare to step into their Year 6 leadership roles in 2027!
The day was packed with inspiration, team building, and practical skill development:
Inspirational Insights: Students kicked off the morning hearing from our Head of School and guest parent speakers, who shared valuable advice and lessons from their own leadership journeys.
The Survival Challenge: Working alongside their House Patrons, students collaborated in house groups on a "stranded at sea" survival scenario.
Communication & Creativity: Students worked with our Head of Primary to hone their communication skills through the ultimate test—building spaghetti and marshmallow towers!
Looking Ahead: After learning about the Year 6 leadership application process, students held a Q&A session with our current 2026 Student Leaders to ask questions and gain firsthand advice.
The day wrapped up with a delicious Subway lunch enjoyed together on our newly refurbished green roof!
Tobias Hogg, Head of Year 5, said, "We are so proud of the enthusiasm, critical thinking, and teamwork shown by our Year 5s. The future of student leadership is bright!"
