AISHK Alumna Featured in ABC News

AISHK graduates pursue diverse careers in the ever changing jobs market, globally.  Ivana Yue, Class of 2024, was recently featured in an ABC News article exploring the rise of Asian music markets and the opportunities they offer emerging artists.

Currently a first-year student at the Australian Institute of Music in Sydney, Ivana is developing her craft in sound design and musical theatre. Her work draws on her multicultural background.

“My favourite thing to do is to take patterns and melodic repetitions and themes from Asian-inspired music and put it into Westernised orchestral pieces,” Ivana said in the article. “I also love using different Chinese scales as well, and even Japanese scales.”
