The Class of 2024 has achieved outstanding results which we are delighted to share with our community.
This cohort has been determined to succeed throughout Years 11 and 12. The Class of 2024 has upheld the values of connecting, striving and flourishing. Our students embraced challenge, didn’t give up, and pursued their diverse interests and passions. We are proud of each and every one of them.
They worked hard across a range of challenging subjects with a 22% Band 6 success rate.
This placed AISHK at 75th in the Sydney Morning Herald rankings of nearly 800 HSC schools based on this criterion.
AISHK was also featured in the Herald’s rankings of the top 20 performing schools in English, based on results in the Extension 1 and 2 and Advanced courses.
Adam Chan received a prestigious All-Round Achiever award for Band 6 achievement in all subjects.
52% of the cohort were honoured as 'Distinguished Achievers' for achieving at least one Band 6 result.
Valerie Ng was selected for ARTEXPRESS (Visual Arts)
Lauren Stennett was nominated for the Young Writers Showcase (Extension 2 English).
Congratulations to our IB Class of 2024, we applaud their efforts and determination achieving a 100% Diploma Programme pass rate.
Two students, Kimberley Ng and Jessica McKenzie, received the top AISHK score of 43 points which equates to a 99+ ATAR.
AISHK students average score was 37 points, compared to the global average score of 29.2 points. With 39% of the AISHK cohort achieving 40 points or more and over 60% of the IBDP cohort achieved at least one grade 7 result (the top mark in any subject).

The median ATAR for the cohort was 88.9.
47% received an ATAR over 90and 74% over 80.
