We are thrilled to announce our first House Mufti Day for 2026. On Wednesday, 13 May, Eucalypt and Jacaranda will host a combined Mufti Day to build house spirit amongst our students and to raise funds for our chosen charity: Christina Noble Children's Foundation. From their website, the foundation is ‘dedicated to health, educational, social and emotional needs of vulnerable children.’
The theme of the day is ‘Tropical Takeover’. All students are welcome to wear clothes that bring Island Vibes & House Pride! Students can dress up in a comfortable and appropriate outfit, with pops of bright colours they already own (i.e. including shoes, hats, etc). In addition to the mufti dress on the day, students can support our charity in several ways:
Sausage Sizzle - Sausage Sizzle & Icy Pole ($50)
All students will be given a sausage in bread and an icy pole on the day. The Sausage Sizzle and Icy Pole will be $50. Please send in the correct money in a named envelope to your child's teacher for collection on the day.
If you wish to OPT OUT, modify, purchase only single items, or choose the vegetarian option, please complete the following form before Monday 11th May. Please CLICK HERE
‘Tropical Takeover’ Games and Bake Sale
During morning and lunch breaks, students will have the opportunity to participate in some Mufti activities. There will be a bake sale in the morning, with baked goods brought in by Eucalypt and Jacaranda families. Students are asked to bring in a small bag with money if they wish to purchase any baked goods on the day. All the baked goods will be priced between $5 - $20.
For the attention of Eucalypt and Jacaranda Families:
Students from Eucalypt and Jacaranda are asked to contribute baked goods like cupcakes or slices to sell during recess. These should be left in the cafeteria between 7:55am – 8:20am on the day. Please ensure these items are nut-free, and your baked goods container is labelled with your child’s name and class.
Parents who wish to volunteer to help with the bake sale or sausage sizzle from 8:30am - 12:30pm on the day, please email olivia_ashton@aishk.eduh.hk. directly.
Should you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact one of the House Patrons.
Kind regards,
Laura Ren Olivia Ashton
