Child Protection and Social Media

At AISHK, celebrating students' achievements and sharing their learning journey is an important part of school life. However, AI technology and digital platforms are rapidly changing. In response the school has changed the way it shares and publishes images and information about AISHK staff, students and everyone in the community.

A New Approach to Social Media

• AISHK does not publish students' names on social media unless their name is in the public domain (e.g., newspaper or external public platforms).

• Less photos will be shared. Photos shared might be of groups, or with faces partly obscured and they will be low-resolution (so images are harder to manipulate). 

• We regularly archive published posts so they do not stay on social media indefinitely.

Dhanara Is Now Password Protected

Adding a password to Dhanara means the school can share better and more photos and students names within the parent, student and teacher AISHK community.

Pixevety

At the start of the 2027 school year, AISHK will introduce Pixevety, a platform for collecting and recording parent permission in relation to photo permissions. Pixevety offers the school a number of functions to support the correct taking, storing and sharing of students' photos.
