Change Makers in Action: Year 6 Exhibition
Year 6 students proudly presented their Change Makers Exhibition on 24 and 25 September, showcasing creative solutions to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Focusing on SDGs related to equity, gender equality and life on land, students spent nine weeks researching real-world challenges and building actionable solutions.
Year 6 kicked off the exhibition with an energetic dance to "In Control" by Baker Boy to welcome visiting students from Malvern College Hong Kong. The visit allowed students to exchange ideas, while AISHK staff and students also toured the displays to learn about the projects.
On 25 September, parents were invited to join the event. They were treated to inspiring presentations as students confidently explained their research and shared the personal passion behind their work.
Reflecting on the event, Head of Primary Jane Thomas shared, "We are incredibly proud of this unit because it not only showcases their learning, but highlights the essential future-ready skills they need - from critical thinking, teamwork and problem-solving to sending professional emails and turning up to meetings on time. Their messages today reassure us that our future is in great hands."
