Alumni Daniel Bennie and the Young Socceroos Win U20 Asian Soccer Cup

Alumni, Daniel Bennie, represented Australia in the U20 Asian Soccer Cup in Shenzhen, China, on 1 March! 

Bennie's team, the Young Socceroos won the tournament! His team defeated Saudi Arabia to lift the trophy at the Baoan Sports Centre Stadium, ending a memorable tournament, which saw the team win all of their 5 matches.

The Young Socceroos have now qualified for the U20 World Cup in Chile, taking place in September 2025.

Daniel was a key player throughout the tournament, scoring two goals, captaining the team during their China match and setting up goals in other matches.
