AISHK STEM Racing Teams Accelerate to December Competition

In May, AISHK entered two teams into, STEM Racing Hong Kong & Macau Inter-Schools Development Class Competition, held at United Christian College. The competition challenges students to make model F1 cars and race them. The teams achieved notable success — with Team Overdrive winning Best Engineered Car, while Team Aetherion were nominated among the Top 3 for Best Brand Identity.

These impressive achievements and their F1 experience were detailed in the recent issue of The Lion Rock the School's magazine.  

In December, AISHK’s STEM Racing teams will compete in the Professional Class Competition, aiming to qualify for the World Championship next year.

Tom McTiernan, Creative Industries Teacher, who is supporting the student teams explains in The Lion Rock article that the students are bringing all their skills together in a real-world learning experience. He noted how quickly they organised themselves to achieve their goals.
