SDRC Basketball Tournament

Congratulations to the U14 Boys and Girls teams for securing silver trophies at the SDRC Basketball Tournament last week in Shenzhen!

The boys’ team went undefeated in the round-robin stage, with all players improving with each game and demonstrating consistency and composure. Advancing to the final, the team continued to battle with determination in a close match against Quality Schools International, where they fell short by just two points, bringing home silver medals.

The first day of play was challenging for the girls' team, but they are fuelled by incredible determination and on day two of the tournament the team strung together three consecutive wins.

In the semi-finals, the team battled fiercely against a tough opponent, winning by just one point in overtime. In the final, the girls team fought hard but lost a difficult match despite their best efforts and they finished second overall.

More sporting highlights:

HKPSSA Kowloon Cricket Tournament

AISHK fielded four teams at the HKPSSA Kowloon Cricket Tournament, including three boys’ teams and one girls’ team. It was fantastic to see so many enthusiastic and committed cricketers, many of whom have developed their skills through the Primary Cricket ECA, representing the school with pride.

Our AISHK Boys 1 team had an outstanding tournament, remaining undefeated and being crowned Kowloon champions. Boys 2 and Boys 3 also performed impressively, securing several victories across the day and demonstrating great teamwork and resilience.

The AISHK girls’ team played some excellent cricket, competing strongly in all matches and finishing in a commendable third place.

HKPSSA Kowloon Aquathon

On 7 May, students powered through a 250m swim, transitioned swiftly and completed a 1km run around the Kellett School. Throughout the morning, athletes demonstrated resilience, teamwork and a positive spirit. A fantastic team effort saw Team A secure 3rd place overall, while one Year 6 student delivered an outstanding performance to finish 1st in his race.

Congratulations to one Year 6 student for securing 1st Runner-up in the Grade A Foil event at the Lam Tai Fai College Hong Kong Primary Schools Fencing Invitation Championships 2026.
