AISHK Celebrates Book Week

Book Week 2026 at AISHK was a joyful celebration of reading, imagination and literature.

Inspired by this year’s theme, Symphony of Stories, students explored a rich variety of genres and discovered the many worlds that books can open. Throughout the week, they bonded over stories, shared their love of reading and immersed themselves in exciting literary adventures.

From the library transforming into a glowing wonderland for the Spotlight Reading Party, to families coming together for the Teddy Bear’s Picnic and selecting books from Bookaburra’s Free Little Library, the week was filled with memorable moments.

The celebrations concluded with the Book Parade, where staff and students brought favourite book characters to life through imaginative costumes.

Book Week is a wonderful reminder of the power of reading to connect, inspire and transform the way we think.
