YES Club Wins Hong Kong Volunteer Award 2025

AISHK’s YES Club has been recognised with a Hong Kong Volunteer Award for their dedicated service and exceptional promotion of volunteerism throughout 2025. The award was issued by The Home and Youth Affairs Bureau Agency for Volunteer Service. 

 

From supporting food distribution to people experiencing homelessness with, environmental initiative, visiting elderly residents and fundraising the award recognises the YES Club’s ability to, turn awareness into action and compassion into meaningful service.  

 

The YES Club also leads whole‑school initiatives, including Box of Hope, support for Animals Asia and Redress, food drives, donation campaigns for Fiji, the 24‑Hour Race and awareness initiatives to educate and mobilise peers. 

 

Lisa Darby, Secondary Teacher, shared, “This award is a meaningful recognition of the sustained commitment, leadership and community impact demonstrated by the YES Club throughout 2025. It reflects a culture of service built through consistent, student-led action across a wide range of community needs. A special thank you to James Goh and Sophie Tang, our Community Service Prefects, for their outstanding leadership and contribution." 

 

The groups charity partners include, Crossroads, Hanuman Charity, GreenHour and Life Commitment Charity,
