The Hong Kong team at the Asian Schools Rugby Sevens Championship was captained by one of AISHK Year 11 students!

The tournament held from the 9–10 August at King’s Park was this year’s squad finished 6th. The team's captain said, "I'm grateful to Mr Cunningham and Mr Bailey for coaching me at school for a number of years. I am so pleased to have experienced a tournament that only happens once every three years. Thanks to everyone who supported and cheered us. Although the result wasn't what we hoped for, I believe each of us [team members] cherished every moment. It still feels like a dream!”

He added, "The championship was so fun! We're proud of our performance in such a high-level tournament. I will never forget the feeling of running out the tunnel with the crowd cheering. I've made new friends and gained many experiences both on and off the field."
