The Hong Kong observatory has raised the Black Rainstorm Warning Signal.

Australian International School Hong Kong will continue as normal until the end of the school day. Parents are not required to take any action during the normal school day. If the signal is lowered to Amber before the end of the school day. Students will travel home as normal.
If the Red Rain signal is in place at the end of the school day, students will remain on campus until the warning is lowered to Amber. Students will wait in their home rooms (or designated areas) supervised by a teacher.
Students will not be dismissed and able to travel home unless they are picked up by an adult or the weather warning is lowered.
School buses will not run until the signal is lowered to AMBER. If the RED signal remains in force after 4:15pm, the school bus service will be cancelled, and parents or guardians will need to collect students from campus.
If the Black Rain signal is in place at the end of the school day the EDB and government advice is that members of the public should not travel. Students will be supervised and remain safe until the signal is lower to Red or Amber and they can be collected by an adult.
All school excursions and offsite activities will be postponed during a RED or BLACK rainstorm warning. All onsite and offsite ECA will be cancelled.
