Congratulations to Year 7 student Oscar Kee for being awarded Second Class Honours in the International Junior Science Olympiad (IJSO) Hong Kong Screening Competition.

The IJSO is a highly competitive science competition designed to identify and nurture exceptional young scientists with strengths across biology, chemistry and physics. Students from leading schools across Hong Kong participate in the screening competition, with only the highest-performing contestants receiving First, Second, or Third Class Honours.

He has also been invited to attend the IJSO Training Programme, which will take place in December and is designed to further develop the scientific knowledge and practical skills of high-achieving students.

Benjamin Chin, Secondary Teacher, said, "By earning Second Class Honours, Oscar has demonstrated outstanding scientific knowledge, problem-solving ability and analytical thinking across multiple scientific disciplines. This achievement places him among the top-performing participants in Hong Kong and qualifies him for participation in the next stage of the programme.

This accomplishment reflects his dedication to academic excellence and his passion for science. We congratulate him on this impressive achievement and look forward to following his continued success in the sciences."
