On 20 May, Secondary Environmental Prefects introduced Redress, the school’s sustainability initiative for the month of May, to Primary students. Redress Month 2026 is a campaign aimed at breaking the cycle of fashion waste, which comes at a significant cost to the environment.
During the session, the Prefects highlighted practical ways students can make a difference, including reusing clothing and donating items to extend their lifecycle.
Students participated enthusiastically in a Q&A session, responding to questions about the environmental impact of fashion waste.
Melissa Pepper, Sustainability Co-ordinator, said, "We encourage families to continue the conversation at home by exploring the impact of fast fashion with their children and discussing simple, meaningful ways they can make a difference.”
