Influenza Vaccination and Hot Weather Warnings

Student safety is our number one priority at AISHK and we are constantly exploring how to make the learning environment safer.

We've recently introduced Weather Flags @ AISHK. This supplements our processes outlined in the Parent Handbook and provides a visual system of green, yellow and red flags to help children understand the prevailing heat conditions together with messaging on adjusting their play to stay safe. Weather Flags @ AISHK operates during the hotter months (terms two and three) and information flyers are posted throughout the school to help with awareness.

In addition to Weather Flags @ AISHK, we will also be participating in the government's 2025/26 Seasonal Influenza Vaccination School Outreach Programme (SIVSOP). The school is working with one of Hong Kong's largest providers to provide the vaccine later this year under the SIVSOP scheme. Plans are being finalised, and we expect to announce more details before the end of the term.
