Science Week Film: Legends of Emberfalls, Watch the Trailer

This term, as is tradition, will see the premiere of our new Science Week film, Legends of Emberfalls. In Science Week, (in Week 5) we will be celebrating all things science. Now our Year 8 Science Fair will be in Term 3, with prizes and glory to be won. Year 7s will visit the science museum to further their studies of geology and classification. Undeniably this will be a rewarding week for all involved.
Reflecting on our recent films- in 2023, AISHK defeated alien invaders in Avatrek- the Way Down Under. Last year in our 2024 film, Time Bites, the last human survivors defeated the zombies, restoring the timeline and saving humanity.
Decoding The Universe is this year’s theme for Australian National Science Week. Our interpretation of this is both astronomical and cryptographic. Teachers will be considering our place in the universe. Codes may appear anywhere around the school, so keep a look out!
Our film, Legends of Emberfalls, sees a ragtag bunch of heroes assemble to rescue Princess Sheila from the evil wizard and the dragon, His Lea, who guards her. Many brave adventurers have tried to find her, to no avail. Some say the dragon’s scales are impenetrable. Legends of Emberfalls will be shown to Secondary and older Primary students. August 29th is our premiere date, with much excitement building. Students should be on the lookout for secrets. Hidden messages could be anywhere.
