School Food Catering Announcement

Since March this year the school leadership team has been evaluating our school food catering provisions.  For many years Chartwells, part of the Compass group, has been our catering partner.  The existing catering contract comes to an end in December 2025.

Initially in early June this year, six catering companies were invited to join our food tender process.  These companies were welcomed into the school to see our current facilities and ask questions to prepare their tender.  Following the initial tender submissions in late July five companies were chosen to go forward to the second stage of our process.  The second stage included students, staff and parents visiting five different school locations to observe operations, ask questions and sample food of each school.  Feedback was received and used by the school leadership team to reduce the five companies down to our final three.  These final three companies made a final presentation to the school leadership team in September.

After careful deliberation the school leadership team decided to award a three year initial contract to Asia Pacific Catering (APC) to begin in January 2026.  The school is looking forward  to working with APC on a successful launch in January and our co-planning is well underway. 

The school would like to thank Chartwells for their years of service with our school and recognise the professional nature in which they approached our food tender process this year.
