Following the momentum of, Get Redressed Month, AISHK is continuing its commitment to sustainability with an upcoming Redress fundraiser.

This month, students and staff came together to support Redress, a Hong Kong-based NGO dedicated to reducing the environmental impact of fashion. On 5 June, the Primary and Secondary Sustainability Groups will host a pop-up Redress fundraiser.

The event will feature a coin drive, bake sale and clothing sale, with second-hand pieces and accessories generously donated by AISHK families.

Redress Competition Winners

Throughout May, students and staff have donated re-wearable clothing across the campus.

The Sustainability Group played a key role in building awareness. Secondary prefects led engaging sustainability sessions for Primary students, helping to instil environmentally responsible habits from an early age.

A highlight of the initiative was the Redress competition, which recognised the student and staff member who donated the greatest total weight of clothing. Congratulations to winners, Head of Creative Industries, Chrissy Carini and Year 9 student Lucas Wong. Both will enjoy a personalised lunch thoughtfully prepared and served by the Sustainability Group.
