PDHPE Review 2025

This year the PDHPE, and Sport department engaged the services of Sport in Education Consultant, Paddy McKenna, to lead a review into best practice.    

McKenna’s consultancy is timely as the school begins redevelopment work on the ground floor to create a Wellness Wing (that will include different movement and fitness spaces). He met with focus groups of parents, staff and students as part of the review.  

See a summary below. McKenna’s summary noted, that the PDHPE department works diligently to meet the demands of a complex and evolving curriculum, and they demonstrate a strong commitment to positive student experiences, both academically and in sports.
