Parent Association – 2025 AGM, Nominations & Elections

2025 has been another active and engaging year for the Parent Association (PA) and our school. As we do every year, the PA is offering an opportunity for parents to join the PA Executive Committee and General Committee. 

2025 PA AGM 

The 2025 Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the AISHK Parent Association will be held from

• 1:30pm – 3:30pm on Monday,

• 24 November 2025 at the

• AISHK Auditorium. 

Parents who would like to contribute to the continued development of our school are invited to nominate themselves for election to the PA General or Executive Committee. Please refer to the procedures outlined in the AISHK PA Constitution.

What is The Parent Association? 

Any AISHK parent or staff member is, by default, a member of the AISHK PA. We encourage and invite all parents (with children in any age group) to consider playing an active role in this network. 

The PA is managed by an Executive Committee of six (6) positions and a General Committee of up to ten (10) people. Being a part of either Committee means: 

• Promoting close cooperation between the school and parent body, and ensuring a welcoming support network for both new and current parents. 

• Making a difference – share your skills and resources to enhance the learning and recreational environment of our students through fundraising. 

• Getting connected! A great way to meet fellow parents and make lasting friendships within the community. 

• Having fun – working as a team to coordinate AISHK’s dynamic community events. 

• Collaborating closely with the AISHK Development Office to promote PA activities through the school’s official platforms.

2025 PA Committee Positions & Nomination

To nominate/self-nominate for a position please complete the: Nomination Form  

• Nominations open: Week 2 of Term 4 

• Nominations close: 5:00pm, Thursday, 13 November 2025 

Voting 

Should a vote be necessary to determine a successful candidate for any given PA Executive role(s), registered AGM attendees may vote in person at the AGM. An online voting system will also be available, and a related timeframe will be communicated to all parents once nominations close and candidates are announced. 

• Nominees Announced & Voting Opens: Monday, 17 November 2025 

• Voting Closes: Friday, 21 November 2025 

Register Your Attendance for the 2025 PA AGM 

All nominees and 2025 PA Executive members must attend the AGM at 1:30pm on Monday, 24 November 2025. The AGM will be immediately preceded by the final PA General Meeting of the 2025 Committee. All Committee members will then step down, and the AGM and election will proceed.
