Get to know the new and returning staff who have joined AISHK this year. They bring diverse backgrounds and talents but share a common dedication to helping young people learn, grow, and thrive.

Joseph Wilson - Secondary Teacher, HSIE
I have been teaching at Lindisfarne Anglican Grammar School on the North Coast of NSW over the last 20 years. However, I taught here at AISHK in 2018 and 2019. I have been teaching in the Humanities as a Secondary Teacher for most of this time. Earlier in my career, I worked in Business and Law. I have a strong interest in Japan and the language. I am not so keen on the increase in microplastics in our environment.

Maxine Tsang - Classroom Assistant, Secondary LEC
I was a student here and did not work elsewhere before joining AISHK. I enjoy travelling, listening to Olivia Dean’s music, and drinking lemon tea.

Momita Sarkar - Classroom Assistant, Early Childhood
Before AISHK, I worked at Quarry Bay School (ESF). I enjoy travelling and gardening, and I dislike sour candy and horror movies.

Cody Choi - Purchasing Officer
I worked in the commercial sector before AISHK, and this is my first role in a school. I enjoy hiking, yoga and reading, and I don’t like sunbathing because I get sunburned easily and feel sleepy afterward.

Hazel Yip – Classroom Assistant, Early Childhood
I worked as a kindergarten teacher in Think International School before joining AISHK. I like reading books and hiking but I don't like birds!

Haze Kwok - Secondary Teacher - Chinese
My last post was at Shrewsbury International School. I like cats and basketball, and I dislike cold weather and long waits.

Malini Nageswaran - Secondary Teacher, Maths
Before joining AISHK, I worked at Shrewsbury International School. I enjoy teaching maths and solving problems, and I dislike cold weather and long waits.

Leticia Wang - Classroom Assistant, Prep
I operated an education centre that offered English, Chinese and Visual Art tutorial classes for children aged 2–12. I enjoy reading and dancing, and I dislike people with bad manners.

Elizabeth Martin - Specialist Teacher, Creative Arts (Primary)
I have been doing supply teaching here at AISHK for the past two years, working across Reception to Year 6. Before that, I taught K3 at Victoria Educational Organisation. I enjoy travelling and good food, and I dislike very hot weather.

Louise Darby - Primary Teacher
Before joining AISHK, I worked at YCIS Primary in Kowloon Tong. I arrived in Hong Kong in 2020 and spent the first four weeks working online! I spent five and a half years working there - four years as a Year 6 teacher/Head of Year and 18 months in Leadership as Head of Curriculum. I like books, cooking, exercising with friends, and I dislike mushrooms, fish and seafood.
