Over the last two years, the school has embarked on an ambitious renovation plan to update and improve our facilities. The school building is now 26 years old, and AISHK is making changes to create the best learning environment for students now and in the future.

This academic year began with the completion of Phase One of the Wellness Wing, including the Movement Lab (Fitness Studio) and the new Sport and PDHPE office. The cafeteria was renovated to provide more seating, and the Admissions Office was relocated to the first floor, creating a bright and welcoming space for new families joining the school. Four Primary School classrooms on the 4F were modernised. These classrooms feature purpose-built media walls (for instructive teaching) additional storage space, dimmable lighting, improved acoustics, connecting doors, and carefully selected new furniture. These “pilot” upgraded classrooms will inform the plans for the complete renovation of all Primary classrooms over the next three years.

In Secondary School classrooms, new furniture has been installed, and all lockers have been replaced. The 8F teachers’ room, reception area, and Learning Enrichment Centre have been completely redesigned and improved. On the 10F the Green Roof has been redesigned and will be open for use during Term 3 this school year.

These projects demonstrate the school’s commitment to creating the very best facilities to benefit our current students, teachers, and parents, while ensuring we remain attractive as a school of choice in an increasingly competitive environment.
